On Creativity
This is a QRS Series – Question, Recommendation and Saying – focusing on things that are important for us, as parents and as professionals.
Question:
Are you doing enough to increase your creative skills? Are you exercising your brain to think beyond the obvious?
Almost every job requires creativity, some more than others. With automation increasing every day, creativity is the one thing that will be a differentiating factor. How differently you can solve a problem? What product features should be included? What new products should be designed? Creativity is not limited to artists and writers. Each and everyone of us needs it.
So, are you doing enough to hone this very important skill?
Recommendation:
Invest some time in honing your creative skills. Creativity is not something you are born with. It is a skill, and like all skills, it can be developed and honed.
Exercise your brain regularly. Solve puzzles, play creativity building games with your children or friends.
